COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County announces temporary lane closures of approximately 20 minutes scheduled Saturday, Jan. 22 on Trinity Drive.

The County Information Management Division staff will conduct routine inspections of fiber optics infrastructure located in vaults within the roadway between Knecht and 20th Street.

Motorists can expect brief lane closures 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at three locations on Trinity affecting westbound traffic.

Crews will drop the lane adjacent to the sidewalk just east of the Trinity/Knecht intersection. Subsequently, crews will move to the center lane between Knecht and 15th Street and return to the lane adjacent to the sidewalk west of the Trinity/15th St. intersection.

A vehicle and traffic control devices will be erected to move traffic around the inspection site.

Motorists can expect minimal delays and are reminded to use caution when driving in the area.
