County Announces Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Administrative Offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  

The following County Facilities also will have modified hours and services:

Eco-Station 

  • The Eco Station will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • There will be no recycling or trash pick up Thursday or Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Alternate pick-up day if affected is Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Ice Rink

  • The Ice Rink is open noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.

Golf Course

  • The Golf Course is open (Winter Hours) – visit the Golf page for more information.

Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center

  • Closed Thursday and Friday.

Library 

  • Mesa Public and White Rock Branch Libraries is closed Thursday in observance of the Thanksgiving Day and open 1-5 p.m. Friday.

Transportation

  • Atomic City Transit will not be running fixed-route or Dial-a-Ride service Thursday or Friday.

All other County Facilities are closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. This includes Municipal Court.

  • For police dispatch services, call 505.662.8222. In case of emergency, dial 911.
