Council Zips Through Charter Review Items

Kyle Wheeler served on the Charter Review Committee and is here in Council Chambers this evening along with John Hopkins who served as CRC chair to present recommendations on items in the Charter. Council appointed nine citizens to the Charter Review Committee in November 2009. The eight that served (four citizens left the Committee and Council appointed three to back fill the positions) include Chris Chandler, Harry Ettinger, Richard Dunn, Ralph Phelps, John Hopkins, Morrie Pongratz, Larry Warner and Kyle Wheeler, The Chairman was John Hopkins. Vice Chairman was Larry Warner. Member David Izraelevitz resigned when he was appointed to the County Council in June 2011 to replace Jim Hall. He was not replaced. Photo by Carol A.
