Council Tentatively Oks Public Works FY 2025 Budget

Los Alamos County Public Works Department Director Juan Raul presents his department’s FY 2025 budget during the council’s budget hearing Tuesday night in Council Chambers. Council voted 6-0, with Councilor Keith Lepsch absent, to tentatively approve the approximately $67.6 million budget along with several options. These options include: $120,000 for transportation planning, $44,600 for equipment including an electric vehicle option, $20,500 for an electric vehicle replacement for the parks division field groomer and $75,000 for an utility lift and equipment trailer.
