Council Tentatively Oks Police Dept. FY 2025 Budget

Los Alamos Police Deputy Chief Oliver Morris presents his department’s FY 2025 budget to County Council while Police Chief Dino Sgambellone, seated, listens, during Tuesday’s budget hearing. Council voted 6-0, with Councilor Keith Lepsch absent, to tentatively approve the police department’s approximately $15.4 million FY 2025 budget. Also, council tentatively approved two budget options: $325,677 for portable radios and $140,528 for an IPRA Analyst/Specialist.
