Los Alamos County Department of Public Utilities Manager Philo Shelton presents his department’s FY2027 budget this evening to the council. Council approved 6-1, with Councilor David Reagor opposed, to tentatively approve the department’s $94.6 million budget. Council also tentatively approved a $900,000 for a joint budget option between the utilities and Public Works departments, which would be for a road re-pavement and utility infrastructure improvement project.
