County Council unanimously elected Councilor Geoff Rodgers this evening to fill the vacancy left by last week’s resignation of Ron Selvage. The vice chair serves at the pleasure of the council and is eligible for election to subsequent terms. The vice chair assists the chair in the performance of the duties of the chair and acts in the chair’s place when necessary.
