Council Commends County Administrator Harry Burgess for his Strong Leadership Skills

Los Alamos County Administrator Harry Burgess has earned the unanimous respect of all seven Los Alamos County Councilors for his strong leadership skills. Councilors praised Burgess during Tuesday’s County Council meeting for his demonstrated ability to find effective solutions to complex issues facing the County. Council granted Burgess a 3 percent salary increase effective next month. Council also granted a 3 percent raise to Manager John Arrowsmith of the Department of Public Utilities. The Board of Public Utilities, which governs the DPU, wrote a letter to Council stating that Arrowsmith had “exceeded all expectations” in his leadership of the department. Photo by Carol A.
