In a 5 to 2 vote, the Los Alamos County Council approved a Community Broadband Network (CBN) market survey so that the business plan will include customer input regarding funding, pricing and debt options. The Community Broadband Project is near completion. The engineering design is 90 percent complete. The design review was completed by NI Solutions. The final milestone left to complete is the business plan. The survey will cost approximately $28,000. The dissenting votes were cast by Councilors Mike Wismer and Vincent Chiravalle.
