Included on the agenda:

  • An introduction of Ordinance No. 711: Loan/Grant Agreement with the New Mexico Finance Authority for Wastewater Plant Filtration System
  • A public hearing on Ordinance No. 713, which would transfer about 2,698 square feet of public land along Trinity Drive that is owned by the County Los Alamos to the New Mexico Department
    of Transportation. The transfer would be for public road improvements. A second public hearing will be held for Resolution No. 21-29, which shows support for Ordinance No. 713.
  • A public hearing on Ordinance No. 712, which would authorize the County to amend previously passed ordinances to increase the principal amount of the New Mexico Environment Department Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the maximum loan amount of $30 million. This loan would be used for the new wastewater treatment facility in White Rock.
  • Possible approval of the report to District Court on the Los Alamos County Jail conditions.
  • A discussion on the County’s Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Program (ICIP) and an overview of the County’s general Capital Improvements Project (CIP) planning process.
