Coronado Historic Site Offers Visits With Rescued Birds

Coronado Historic Site offers extended hours from dawn until dusk, on the First Sunday of each month, May through October, to allow visitors an opportunity to see the site at these beautiful times of day.

Visit 2-4 p.m. with rescued birds from Wildlife Rescue, Inc. of New Mexico. First Sundays are free to all New Mexico residents with ID.

The early mornings are a great time to see a multitude of different birds, while the evenings offer unparalleled views of the Sandia Mountains glowing pink at sunset.

Activities for people of all ages are available and New Mexico residents are invited to enjoy free admission to learn more about the rich history in their backyard.
