The program, called “Circle of Life,” is a celebration in sung and spoken word. It touches upon the complexities, cycles, and ebb and flow that we experience on our journey through life.
Eric Whitacre’s lovely Five Hebrew Songs will be presented, along with stirring musical selections that deal with aspects of the human condition such as birth, life, death, struggle, hope, and transformation.
Repertoire includes works by Z. Randall Stroope, Jocelyn Hagen, Craig Carnahan, and Gwyneth Walker, plus a few musical surprises that will be sure to delight.
Pianist Nathan Salazar and guest violinist Kay Newnam and cellist Sam Barrett will accompany the chorus. The Trinity on the Hill Youth Choir will join the chorus in several selections, and Anne Marsh, guest narrator, will share inspiring words by famed writers and poets.
