Eastern Area 2 Concrete, Paving & Utility Project – Phase 2:

15th Street: Due to problems resulting from the recent rain, work on 15th Street primarily consisting of dewatering and sweeping activities. The road closure between Myrtle and Oakwood north will remain in place until dewatering and cleanup efforts have been completed. Access at Oakwood South and Sage Loop will be maintained, whereas Sage South will remain closed at 15th Street. Roadbed preparation and concrete work will resume; the travelling public is to expect heavy truck traffic and congestion with lane closures and flagging operations. We encourage that travelers seek alternate routes and to give themselves additional time to get to their destination.
Starting Monday, Sept. 16, RMCI will be closing the 15th Street driveway access to business parking areas in order to place valley gutters and drive pads at this intersection.
This closure will last for 15 days to allow time to place forms, concrete, and cure time for the fresh concrete. During the closure, the contractor will be placing blue “business access” signs to provide motorists direction to the alternate driveway.
North Sage at 15th Street remains closed through next week to allow fresh concrete to cure. Please use alternate routes.
