DP Road (Work related to Canyon Walk Apts and The Bluffs)

Qualcon Builders, LLC – 120 DP Road Utility Infrastructure Replacement

Construction is scheduled to start Monday Sept. 14 and continue for approximately 10 weeks. Traffic control plans have been updated: Once construction starts, the portions of DP Road under construction will be temporarily detoured or restricted to flagged/signaled one-lane traffic.

During the first phase of construction, the length of DP Road from Trinity Dr to Fire Station #2 will be milled and compacted over two days. Then, for approximately 4 weeks, construction activity will be focused on the section of DP Road from Trinity Dr to the Canyon Rim Trail Crossing.

During the second phase of construction, which is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, activity will be focused on the section of DP Road from the Canyon Rim Trail Crossing to Fire Station #2. One-lane traffic restrictions will occur only during hours of construction potentially from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily.  The Contractor will be working in the right-of-way to replace existing utilities with upgraded services related to the new Canyon Walk Apartments (under construction) and The Bluffs senior housing (soon to be constructed). After completion of the Utility work in each phase, the roadway reconstruction, including installation of a storm drain, curb and gutter, and sidewalks will begin, with the final paving being the last activity.
