Central Avenue Improvements Project:
Between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., Central Avenue continues to be fully closed between 15th Street and 20th Street.
During the daytime, Central Avenue between 15th and 20th will consist of one lane of westbound traffic. Expect intermittent short-term flagging operations with minimal delays as trucks enter or exit the work zone. Eastbound Central traffic will be detoured to Deacon Street, to 15th and back to eastbound Central.
On-street parking on Central is closed, please use alternate parking in the area. Pedestrian detour signs are posted – for safety, use the detour and stay out of the work zone.
The contractor plans on working a day and night crew in an effort to complete this section of the project as quickly as possible. Use alternate business entrances including those along Deacon, 15th Street and 20th Street.
N.M. 502 / Trinity Storm Drain Improvements:
Expect short term traffic control at the Trinity and Knecht intersection to allow for final roadway markings and striping. Thank you for your patience throughout this construction!
Western Area Improvements Phase 2:
Work continues on 46th Street and 47th Street off Trinity. Access to residences as well as services such as mail delivery, emergency services, trash and recycling collection will be maintained.
