Los Alamos Museum of Art (LAMOA) and The Los Alamos Historical Society are sponsoring a COVID-19 Poster Contest.

The first-place winner will earn $300, second place will receive $150 and the third-place winner will earn $100.

There also will be a kids’ category for ages 5-14. They will have a chance to win $50.

Los Alamos and White Rock artists are invited to get creative with their digital and traditional media. Winning images will be made into posters for display in the local community.

Selected works will be used as part of each museum’s online gallery.

Digital Submissions should be scalable or high resolution for reproduction. Each submitter grants LAMOA and the Los Alamos Historical Society rights for unrestricted use of the artwork. A photograph of traditional and non-traditional artwork may be submitted. Submissions due by May 9.
