The community is invited to attend a free public lecture with Dr. Ben Tobin: “Exploring Caves through Interdisciplinary Science”, 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at Fuller Lodge.

Dr. Benjamin Tobin, the Director of The National Cave and Karst Research Institute (NCKRI) in Carlsbad,  will describe NCKRI and the role it plays through a lecture entitled “Exploring Caves through Interdisciplinary Science”. 

Dr. Tobin has been involved with cave and karst research and resource management for more than 20 years.  

This event is made possible by the New Mexico Consortium (NMC) “Your State of Science” program, in partnership with the LANL Frontiers in Geoscience Seminar series, Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District, Los Alamos ScienceFest, and the J. Robert Oppenheimer Memorial Committee.
