YMCA Sierra Leone will support climate protection and enhance youth-led tree planting in cities of Freetow, Bo, and Kenema through community-driven reforestation and climate change awareness campaigns.

The project will form youth groups dedicated to reforestation, while partnering with local government on strategic tree planning. Additionally, the Y will promote its climate resilience efforts via radio and TV discussions, community campaigns, and the establishment of climate change clubs in schools and universities. The expected outcomes include strengthened community forestry, improved climate change education, and increased biodiversity.

Indian snacks will be available for sale during intermission.

Come enjoy a colorful showcase of various Indian classical and folk dances and celebrate the start of the arts and culture month in Los Alamos!
