The scarecrows on Central Avenue in downtown Los Alamos need some company! The community is encouraged to display their Halloween jack-o-lanterns today, Oct. 30, with the scarecrows. Take carved pumpkins to the Los Alamos Arts Council booth from 2-4 p.m. in front of Bennett’s Jewelers on Central. From there the pumpkins will be given a specific place to reside among the existing scarecrows and other select businesses downtown and in Central Park Square.
