LA Cares would like to thank our community, the local group #4112 of the National Association of Letter Carriers and Boy Scout Troops 71 and 22 for their help to make our May 14 food drive, “Stamp Out Hunger”, a total success!

More than 4,300 pounds of food were collected.

These donations will keep LA Cares stocked for the next several months.

LA Cares is the local food pantry serving Los Alamos County. We hold a food distribution once a month on the second Friday of the month and the preceding Thursday.

LA Cares also provides assistance for rent and utility payments to Los Alamos County residents once per 12-month period.

The next food distribution is 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church on North Road and 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, June 10. Call 505.661.8015 to register before Sunday, June 5.
