Aug. 27, the community is invited to a Business Fair hosted by the Betty Ehart Senior Center, from 1-4 p.m. The fair will showcase businesses, non-profits with information, resources, services and more.
Several local non-profits will share information on their community programs, potential for volunteers and the need for the simple donation of small items. A few senior center craft vendors will be present to market items from t-shirts and embroidery to a silent auction of donated items to benefit the center. Check the senior center Facebook pages and website for more specifics. Vendors include;
Ambercare, BeeHive Homes, Final Wishes Known, Heritage Trust Company, Home Instead, Los Alamos County Community/Social Services, Los Alamos Medical Center, New Mexico Wildlife Center, Nurses with Heart, and Viome.
A silent auction will take place with a variety of items, used to fund a new Legacy program currently in the planning stages.Items include, garden benches, glassware, china, a Janapanese Fish tank and more.
