To cover final costs of their educational tour of Spain, France and Italy, 14 graduating seniors are selling bags of kosher, organic and fresh-roasted, Fair Trade coffee, at Los Alamos National Bank this week.

Stop by the lobby of LANB, 2-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to support these amazing graduates. Travelers depart June 8, a week after graduation, to see the cultural and historical sites of the Prado Museum, La Sagrada Familia, Carcassonne, Nice, Pisa, Assisi, St. Peter’s Basilica, Roman Colosseum and Pompeii.

Ten ounce bags are $13 and travelers earn half of the proceeds. Choose whole bean or ground, in French Roast, Dark Roast, Medium Roast, or Decaf. The coffee has been a hit for the last two years and the students hope to sell the last of our supply this week.

As with past groups, Europe 2016 includes lifelong friends, talented musicians, strong athletes, young scholars, creative dancers, local volunteers, and active church members. They are excited to see history first-hand with their friends as well as become more globally-minded before they head off to college.

This is the fifth educational tour for graduating seniors offered by local teacher, Lynn Ovaska, through EF Tours. If you unable come to the graduates at LANB this week, email your order to Lynn Ovaska at and the graduates will deliver the coffee to you. Make checks payable to “Europe 2016.”
