The Los Alamos Community of Atheists will be discussing secular ceremonies for events like weddings and funerals. How might you use the structure of a traditional ceremony but honor your non-theistic beliefs? How will your guests react, and is that a factor in your decision making? To educate voters about the purpose of the upcoming mil levy election for UNM-LA, the League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Youth Debate and Town Hall meeting at UNM Los Alamos. The meeting will start with a Youth Debate presented by the Los Alamos High School Debate Team, followed by a presentation by UNM-LA, including a question and answer session.
