Los Alamos County Triathlon 7 a.m. @ Aquatic Center

As part of the Southwest Challenge series the Los Alamos Triathlon is a tough, hilly course with a unique format consisting of mass bike starts in waves with the swim in the middle.
Join us for another quality event for all levels of racers: elite and amateur, long – time and first – time, single and team, young and old.

Los Alamos Kids Triathlon  1 – 4 p.m. @ Aquatic Center

A fun introduction to the multi-sport world for children and youth with an emphasis on fun and fitness. All finishers receive a participation medal. Continuous and non-timed event.

PEEC and the DPU: Rainwater Harvesting Workshop 2 – 4 p.m.

Jeffrey Adams, founder and principal of terrasophia, an ecological design consulting firm, presents this talk on integrated rainwater harvesting systems.

Adams will discuss practical strategies to make the best use of rainwater with both active and passive systems. The Los Alamos Department of Utilities is sponsoring this free presentation.
Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome.
