TOTH news:

Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr., will hold its annual Children’s Christmas Bazaar 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 7 in Kelly Hall.

The Bazaar is held for children kindergarten through 6th grade to shop for their family and friends. “Elves” are available to help children shop and free gift wrapping is available. The best part of the Bazaar is that parents are not allowed in Kelly Hall. Parents are banished to a café style atmosphere where coffee and treats are served.

Gift items are priced very reasonably and are new or gently used. They have been donated by church members and the community. The sale is one of Los Alamos’ ultimate events in recycling and re-gifting. Proceeds from the sale go to charities selected by the children of the church. This year’s proceeds will go to support Health Clinics through Episcopal Relief and Development and for scholarships to youth choir camp in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

The Christmas Bazaar is truly a community event. Middle and high school students give their time, as well as adults to make this event possible. To help with set up Friday, Dec. 6 or assist the day of the Bazaar, call the church office at 505.662.5107.
