Cheryl Vigil is returning to manage the Enterprise Bank & Trust branch in White Rock after a stint at the Cerrillos location in Santa Fe since 2023.
“I missed the community in White Rock and the customers – it feels like home here,” Vigil said. “I will be back in White Rock permanently within the next couple of weeks.”
Vigil has been employed with Enterprise Bank & Trust for over five years. She was first hired in 2019 as an assistant manager at the Santa Fe downtown location. When White Rock’s former branch manager married and moved, Vigil was brought on board as her replacement.
Enterprise Bank & Trust Los Alamos Market Region President Liddie Martinez commended Vigil, saying, “Cheryl has done an outstanding job leading her team at the Cerrillos Branch in Santa Fe, but we are all elated to welcome her back to the White Rock Branch and to our Los Alamos Market. She has gained tremendous experience that will serve us all very well. Welcome back, Cheryl!”
Vigil describes the best parts of her job as working with a great team and getting to know her customers and how best to assist them.
“We all work together and back each other up here at the White Rock location and throughout each location … all the branches support each other,” she said. “We work together to help our customer in the best possible way with all their banking needs.”
Vigil also spoke of her admiration for the positive and supportive corporate culture and work environment at Enterprise.
Vigil was born in Taos and raised in Nambe Pueblo, where she is an enrolled tribal member and still resides. Before working for Enterprise, she worked for the Pueblo of Pojoaque as a cage supervisor at both Cities of Gold Casino and Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino. She is a 2024 graduate of Leadership Santa Fe. Her daughter is studying early childhood development online with UNM.
