Cheryl Hawk Has Perfect Prediction In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Cheryl Hawk had a perfect prediction of 20:00 in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly pace race at Pinon Park on the bike path in White Rock. 

Other accurate predictors: 

  • Holly Walker and months old Iris Geimer at 9 seconds off;
  • Mark Bjorklund with a 18 second differential;
  • Eric Anderson at 21 seconds off as well as the best finisher in the 3 mile distance at 19:39; and
  • Lindsay O’Brien with a 27 second difference.

On the 1 mile course Denise Robertson was the top finisher recording a 12:53 and Cliff Stanley was the first male at 15:20.

In the 3 mile distance the best female finisher was Madeline Harms with a time of 32:25.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 on Rendija Road. Take a left at the 90 degree turn on Barranca Road on Barranca Mesa at the Park, go into the canyon at approximately 1 mile and a quarter a little past the shooting range. 

1 mile gravel and 3 mile trail runs will be available.
