Chart 158: COVID-19 In New Mexico Aug. 19

The bars show the number of diagnoses, reported daily, versus date, and the line shows the seven-day average. The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has set a target of 168 for the seven-day average, a figure that corresponds to 80 daily diagnoses per one million people. Note, however, that the seven-day average calculated by NMDOH, currently at 137, uses the time when the COVID-19 test was administered, rather than the time when the test result was reported.
