Chamisa PTO is hosting a special event 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3 for Chamisa Elementary School – a farewell tour and yard sale. All donations will support Chamisa PTO and there will be a free table as well.

The community and alumni are invited to enjoy a school tour of the old building before it is torn down for the final stage of the construction of the new campus. Tours will be offered 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. based on demand throughout the day. The PTO will provide a bake sale, coffee, water and lemonade.

Many hands make light work and the PTO is seeking 50 volunteers to help organize and manage the sales and donate bake goods. Please consider taking a 1.5 hour shift and support Chamisa Elementary School and PTO.

Yard sale items can be dropped off 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 2 and bake sale donations 5-7 p.m. Friday or 8 a.m. Saturday.
