Inside the UNM-LA Student Center from left, North Road Inn Owner Kathy Mockler, Business Manager Connie Proulx of the UNM-LA Small Business Development Center and Owner Kenny Miller of Kenny’s North Carolina BBQ participated Friday in the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce’s FAN44 lunchtime business networking event. Seventeen restaurants across Los Alamos reserved tables for Chamber members participating in the FAN44 business opportunity. The hour-long luncheon gives business people at each location the chance to speak in depth about their endeavors and to learn on a much deeper level about the people paired with them at the table. For more information or to sign up for FAN44, contact Katy Korkos at 661-4816 or fan44@losalamos.org. Kenny’s North Carolina BBQ now operates the cafeteria at the UNM-LA Student Center where he and his crew prepare food for students, staff and the public from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
