Chamberlin Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Becky Chamberlin was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Canada Bonita Trail by the ski hill at 6 seconds off her predicted time. She was also the first female finisher in the 2-mile distance at 28:04. Other accurate predictors were Paul Geimer recording 16 seconds off; Lynn Bjorklund with a 26 second difference and also the best female finisher on the 3-mile course with a time of 29:34; Eric Anderson at 31 seconds off and the top finisher in the 3-mile distance recording a 21:29; and Adrian Medin with a 43 second differential.

On the 1-mile paved course 5-month-old Maya Thomas was first at 12:37 and Felix Candia came in as the best male finisher with a time of 13:52.

In the 1-mile trail distance 11-year-old Levi Gartz had a 7:15 for top finisher and 3-year-old Iris Geimer was the first female with a time of 26:39.

Conor Gavin was the best finisher on the 2-mile course recording a 22:11.

Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, and will start by the Pajarito Complex on Arizona Avenue. To get there, go North on Diamond Drive, take a left on 35th Street and proceed to the end of the street, then take a right on Arizona Avenue and the Pajarito Complex is just to the left. 1-mile paved and 3-mile hybrid (paved and trail) runs will be available.
