Chamber Offers Business Marketing at Visitor Centers

An Open Letter to Business Owners
By MIKE LIPPIATT, Manager
Los Alamos Meeting and Visitor Bureau

We are in the process of expanding our local information at both our Los Alamos Visitor Center and White Rock Visitor Center.

There are several businesses that already provide brochures and/or business cards within each of our centers, but there are many businesses that are not taking advantage of this free marketing opportunity. We want to do all we can, as we interact with people who come through our centers, to promote as many local businesses and opportunities as we can.

We understand that not all businesses may be a big draw for tourists but we have a lot of local people, and new-comers who visit us and having your business information helps us be more well-rounded and complete in our information offerings.

We are hoping to see more brochure or postcard type marketing from our local businesses, so we can expand our local information racks and fill them full of all the amenities our community has to offer. But, if business cards are all you are interested in sending our way, that is okay, too, as we have plenty of room to add more business card racks.

We are starting our “in season” hours earlier in 2014 with expanded hours starting March 15. We would love to have your business information in our brochure stands and business card racks prior to this time.

Contact us at your earliest convenience or simply drop off your brochures and/or business cards at the Los Alamos Visitor Center and Chamber offices.
