Chamber Of Commerce Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony For Bilingual Montessori School In Los Alamos

CHAMBER News:

The Los Alamos Chamber Of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Dec. 10 for the Bilingual Montessori School at 3500 Trinity Drive. The Triad supported child care center is now fully operational and and all classrooms are open for enrollment. This is the second Bilingual Montessori School campus with the first in operation since 2009 in White Rock.

The four buildings that comprise the Bilingual Montessori School in Los Alamos have undergone extensive construction.

The four buildings each include a playground, separated by age:

  • Infant Building (ages 6 weeks to 12 months);
  • Transition Building (ages 12 months to 18 months);
  • Toddler Building (ages 18 months to 2 years); and
  • Early Childhood Building (ages 3-5 years).

Operating hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday for all ages.

An after school program is offered, 2:30-5:30 Monday through Friday for Los Alamos Public Schools students ages 4-7 years.

All classrooms are open and staff includes 22 employees at the Los Alamos location. Enrollment is open to the general public for ages 6 weeks to 6 years. The infant building has a wait list with the next opening being October 2025. Those interested in a space are encouraged to schedule a tour and place a deposit.
