Century Bank completes its expansion into Los Alamos and will open for business the new branch at 751 Trinity Dr., at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The new office has an urban, modern feeling and features Universal Bankers for personalized client needs.

Karen Easton will head up the team at the Los Alamos branch. She was hired by Century Bank in 2018 and brings more than 10 years of banking experience in management, private banking and wealth management. As a community banker, she prides herself in building relationships through a holistic approach to customer service. A graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, Easton enjoys being involved in her community and serves as a member of the Rotary Club and 100+ Women Who Care in Los Alamos.
Missy Smith has been appointed Assistant Branch Manager. She was in Los Alamos and raised in Santa Fe. After graduating from Los Alamos High School in 2004 Smith started her career in banking as a teller. In 2015, she received her paralegal certificate from UNM-LA. Smith resides in Los Alamos with her husband and son and is excited to further her career with Century Bank.
Senior Universal Banker Shannon Lopez at the new branch is a native New Mexican born and raised in Santa Fe. Lopez attended NMSU and NMHU earning her degree in political science. Her background includes two years in the legal field, four years as a political consultant and two years of business development and public policy at the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce.
Tim Branch, also a native New Mexican, was born in Espanola and raised in Los Alamos. Branch will serve as a Universal Banker at the Los Alamos office. He is a graduate of New Mexico State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration on Finance. Branch currently has three years of experience in the banking industry and is pursuing his goal to become a personal wealth strategist.
The grand opening of Century Bank’s Los Alamos office is scheduled for Oct. 17. This branch will provide consumer and commercial loans along with retail and business banking, including wealth management services.
