SANTA FE – Century Bank has announced the appointment of Wayne Miller to its Board of Directors effective Oct. 1, 2022.

A native of New Mexico and spending the last 40 years in Santa Fe, he is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a minor in Finance. Miller brings with him 42 years of banking experience, 13 years as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Century Bank. He then worked for Washington Federal as Senior Vice President/Commercial Lending.

Miller served for many years as a board member for the Santa Fe Community Housing Trust, two of which he was the president working hard to bring affordable housing to the communities of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico.

With Miller’s experience in banking and local market knowledge, he brings vast expertise and will help drive Century Bank forward as the bank continues to grow and expand. Miller says he joined the board to “Make the bank a better place for its employees and customers.”

He enjoys horseback riding, golf and skiing in his spare time.
