Central Park Square Has Become ‘The Place To Be’

Crowds have been gathering all summer in Central Park Square as seen Thursday with a packed house inside the Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op that spills onto the patio. CPS Owner Philip Kunsberg has been strategic in the types of businesses he is attracting including Unquarked, The Wine Room and Rigoberto’s Mexican Restaurant. Live music is now heard coming from the bandstand outside the beer co-op and large metal sculptures by Los Alamos artist Richard Swenson and loaned pieces from the Shidoni Gallery add visual interest throughout Central Park Square. It’ll be interesting to see what Kunsberg has planned next. The chatter around town indicates that ‘Central Park Square has become the place to be’. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com
