Workers kneel in planters to install finishing touches to the Central Avenue Improvements Project between 15th and 20th streets. This portion of the project is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 30. During the Homecoming Parade Friday, Sept. 19, the contractor will open Central Avenue by 1 p.m. and if paving is delayed, the parade will proceed on the milled surface.
