Celebrate The Many Cultures Of New Mexico At Coronado Historic Site’s Fiesta Of Cultures

The annual Fiesta of Cultures will be held from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, and is a family-friendly event celebrating New Mexico’s enchanting diversity of cultures.

Fiesta of Cultures, presented by New Mexico Historic Sites and The Friends of Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites, is a family-friendly day filled with unique cultural performances, live animals, a science circus, horno baking, kiva tours, and food and art vendors.

The event includes cultural performances by The Wilde Bunch Square Dancers, an LGBTQ+ square dance group from Albuquerque, Jemez Pueblo Dancers, Trupthi’s Academy of (East Indian) Dance and Music, McTeggart Irish dancers, New Mexico’s science circus, Conservation Carnivale, and a musical performance by Felix Peralta. Admission is $10 per person and free to children 16 and younger, Tribal members, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, Friends of Coronado and Jemez members, and Museum of New Mexico Foundation members.

Fiesta of Cultures is sponsored by the Town of Bernalillo Lodger’s Tax, Sandia Resort and Casino, Chicky’s Coffee, New Dawn Travels, the Wilde Bunch, the Museum of New Mexico Foundation, and the Friends of Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites.
