NMDCA News:
Join us from 5–7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, at the New Mexico History Museum for an event that blends history, identity, and connection.
Step into the exhibition, Reflections on History, inside the Palace of the Governors during First Friday Artwalk in February—and bring your Valentine! Historic photos will mirror your own reflection, blurring the line between past and present. Celebrate the diverse stories of New Mexicans while discovering a little more about your story, too.
You can also use the “I Am” identity poem activity with your date to learn something new about each other. This exhibition was created in partnership with the New Mexico Commission for the Blind, and visitors who are blind or have low vision are enthusiastically encouraged to attend.
This inclusive exhibit highlights the diversity of New Mexicans and encourages everyone to take part in shaping the state’s story. The activities provide the perfect mix of history, self-discovery, and Valentine’s Day vibes!
Admission to Palace Avenue First Friday Art Walk is free to all.
