Celebrate Easter With Friends Of The Shelter Pancake Breakfast At Posse Lodge April 5

FOS News:

Sunday, April 5 is the fourth year in a row that the Los Alamos Friends of the Shelter (FOS) has participated in the Posse Lodge Pancake Breakfast. All proceeds go to FOS and the animals of Los Alamos County and northern New Mexico.

The menu includes pancakes of various flavors (including blueberry and chocolate chip), eggs, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee.

FOS will feature a silent auction of gift baskets, donated by Michelle Mas and Zena Thomas – the gift baskets were a huge hit last year, so come enter your bid. The auction will continue all morning.

There also will be registration forms to sign up for the FOS Dog Jog, coming up April 25. The registration price increases April 6, so be sure to take advantage of the lower registration cost while you’re enjoying pancakes at the April 5 breakfast.

Current shelter dogs will be visiting throughout the morning during the mobile adoption. Because it was such a hit last year, the “Ask a Trainer” booth will be set up 9-11 a.m. at the breakfast. Patrons can receive personal training advice from Sue Barns, who trains dogs for Assistance Dogs of the West and has co-authored the book Training Your Diabetic Alert Dog.

The April 5 breakfast is served 7-11 a.m. so come out and support FOS at the Posse Lodge on North Mesa and get a doggy kiss or a paw shake with your delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast! Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for kids 10 years or younger.
