Carlos Valdez Leads Rose Pruning Workshop May 7

GARDEN News:

Carlos Valdez from the Los Alamos County Cooperative Extension Services Department will conduct a workshop about the care and pruning of roses at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7 in the Memorial Rose Garden behind Fuller Lodge.

Valdez will demonstrate pruning techniques and answer questions about growing roses in the local environment.

Attendees are encouraged to wear long sleeves and bring pruning shears and gloves. Get hands-on experience helping the Los Alamos Garden Club prune the roses in the Memorial Rose Garden.

The Los Alamos Garden Club is sponsoring this free workshop.
