CANCELED: AMBER Alert for 2-year-old New Mexico Girl

Update: AMBER Alert for Elyssia Cavazone-Salas is canceled as the child has been found safe.

Elyssia Cavazone-Salas, 2, was last seen today, Aug. 29, in Alamogordo. She was taken by her aunt.

The child and the suspect are traveling in a 2008 Ford Escape, Blue/Green with New Mexico license plate #714-RKZ.

She and the suspect may be traveling to Ruidoso or Mescalero Indian Reservation in New Mexico.

The child is in danger due to the suspect’s propensity to drink and use drugs.

  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Height: 3’0
  • Weight: 32
  • Description: Medium skin complexion

Suspect Denelle Salas:

  • Age: 22
  • Sex: Female
  • Skin: Native American
  • Hair: Black
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Height: 5’6″
  • Weight: 180
  • Description: Straight shoulder length hair
