TAOS — Now, in its second year, the highly successful art festival, The Paseo, is seeking multimedia installation, performance, and projection artists to submit entries for the festival, which will be featured as part of the Taos Fall Arts Festival in September.

The deadline for submissions is Feb. 1.

The Paseo is a festival dedicated to bringing the art of installation, performance and projection to the streets of Taos.

Occurring Sept. 25-26, in collaboration with Taos Fall Arts Festival, The Paseo unites the 2015 fall arts venues, creating a platform for the public display of art within the Taos Historic District.

For more information, visit paseotaos.org or contact the team at taospaseo@gmail.com.

“Our first year proved to be a huge success that drew more than 3,000 people who were able to experience the transformation in the streets of Taos through the creative vision of 21 artists from across the country,” founder and director J. Matthew Thomas said. “Our goal for 2015, is to bring even more artists who share the goal of creating a platform in Taos for art that everyone can enjoy.”

All applications must include an artist statement describing the submission, artist bio, title of proposal, one paragraph statement that addresses the work submitted, website and/or video link, installation/performance plan, and budget needed to present your work.

All submissions must include 2-3 images containing 72 dpi jpg files (maximum width: 900 pixels), which will be used for judging purposes only.

There is a $25 fee to submit, which can be completed online via PayPal by clicking on the site’s “save and continue” button.

Judges will notify artists in March of their final selections.
