Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church To Ordain New Pastor

Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church at 333 Bryce Ave. in White Rock cordially invites the community to the ordination and installation of their new pastor Zachary Garris, at 6 p.m. Oct. 10, as a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.

Garris is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Miss., and has a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. Prior to being called to minister here, he practiced law and taught at a Christian school.

Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church, founded 46 years ago, is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, a Bible-believing, confessional, and evangelical Reformed denomination founded in 1973. As a church, it strives to be, “faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ”.
