Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church Fall Conference Features Simonetta Carr On Broken Pieces And The God Who Mends Them

Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church in White Rock is hosting a Fall Conference that will touch upon the difficult theme of mental illness in the church with the hope of encouraging families in similar situations. The conference is offered free of charge.
 
The Fall Conference is 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 for the first session and there will be two sessions at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. A lunch will be offered free of charge after the conference — but interested parties are asked to please RVSP to the church email at info@bapca.org or call 505.672.3364.
 
Note: Child Care is not available during this conference.

She was born in Italy and has lived and worked in different cultures as elementary school teacher, home-schooling mother, Italian language instructor, freelance writer, translator and editor. Carr is the author of the award-winning series Christian Biographies for Young Readers (Reformation Heritage Books), and of Broken Pieces and the God Who Mends Them (P & R). She writes a regular column Cloud of Witnesses for the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. Carr lives in San Diego, Calif. with her husband Thomas and the youngest of their eight children.
