SANTA FE — The New Mexico Office of Broadband Access and Expansion (OBAE) will host Broadband Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 at the Capitol.
OBAE will also host a12-noon press conference with state lawmakers, education leaders, broadband industry and business dignitaries, Tribal leaders and students. There will be one-on-one media availability after the event.
OBAE will highlight nearly $20 million in “Student Connect” grants awarded to schools and Tribes, while highlighting major accomplishments, broadband projects and its legislative agenda. OBAE will also discuss its management of nearly $1 billion in state and federal funds for broadband expansion in New Mexico.
