It can be difficult to find a way to fundraise and actually offer something that people need or want. La Vista Church is trying a new angle—ultrasonic blind cleaning.

Friends of the church have offered to bring their expertise and their ultrasonic machine to White Rock, for this weekend only, to clean blinds or golf clubs for a suggested donation that will be given to the La Vista Church.

The ultrasonic machine uses sound waves in water to clean blinds, golf clubs, and just about anything you can fit into the machine. The best part is that it only takes about ten minutes to clean a set of blinds.

They will be cleaning mini blinds, faux woods, pleated and cellular shades, vertical blinds, and real woods (woods are done by hand). They can also repair blinds and, of course, clean golf clubs.

Drop off or wait to get blinds and golf clubs cleaned 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) at the La Vista Church, 15 Grand Canyon (corner of Grand Canyon and N.M. 4 in White Rock.
