ACRR News:
Lynn Bjorklund was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runner’s weekly pace race held on Power Line Trail in White Rock at 32 seconds off her predicted time and also the first female finisher in the 3-mile distance, recording a 26:28.
Other accurate predictors:
- Jan Velechovsky with a 35 second differential;
- David Kunsberg at 45 seconds off;
- Madeline Harms with 52 second difference; and
- Valerio Pinchetti and Eric Anderson tied at 94 seconds. Anderson was also the best finisher on the 3-mile course at 19:56.
1-Mile Course:
- Max Davis, 3, was first with a time of 10:24 and the top female was Roxana Bujack at 28:26; and
2-Mile Course:
- Anstasha Davis was the best female, recording a 20:50.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, on Range Road just before Guaje Pines Cemetery.
To get to Range Road, take Diamond Drive Northbound and turn left on Range Road at the fire station before the traffic circle separating the two mesas. 1-, 2-, and 3-mile trail runs and a 1-mile paved run will be available.
