BSMA News:

It’s Bill Nye Experiment Night Friday, Nov. 15 at the Bradbury Science Museum, 1350 Central Ave.

Hosted by the Bradbury Science Museum Association Teen Advisory Board, Bill Nye Experiment Night provides teens the opportunity to perform experiments featured in Bill Nye videos.

The event includes free food.

The BSMA Teen Advisory Board was created in 2018 by Los Alamos High School senior Eleanor Henderson for her Girl Scout Gold Award project. She serves as president of the Board along with Vice President Emily Holmes, Secretary/Treasurer Neha Sadasivan, BSMA Liaison Ogden Berry, Public Relations/Advertising Officer Noah Lyons, Sonya Svyatskaya, Natalie Aulwes, Steven Bullock, Samuel Cirigliano, Filippo Delzanno, Victor Popa-Simil and Malea Joyce.

The Teen Advisory Board hopes to increase teen interest in the Bradbury as well as in STEM, and they are looking forward to making a positive impact in the Los Alamos community. They are accepting new applicants for the board (applicants must be high school-aged), through Nov. 30. To access the application, visit https://sites.google.com/view/bsmateens/home.

For more information about the board, including questions about applications, email bsmateenadvisoryboard@gmail.com or check out their Instagram page @bradburyteens.
