LIBRARY News:

In order to accommodate the renovation project at Mesa Public Library, the Library will be closed Monday, Aug. 20 and reopen Tuesday, Aug. 21.

The road between the two library parking lots also will be closed intermittently Monday in order for cement to be poured.  The White Rock Branch will be open normal hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

The building and lobby will be closed for the duration of the project, which is expected to be complete in early December. Access to books and other library materials and staff assistance will be provided in a small area on the ground floor of the building, called “The Zone.” There will be a children’s lending library set up in the classroom on the second floor of Fuller Lodge, open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Aug. 21.

For more information about the construction project and how to access library services, visit the website www.libraryimprovementsproject.us or call 505.662.8250.
